We found out the other day that only 16 electric vehicles - all Think City models - have been sold in Spain this year. This lackluster performance isn't stopping the country's Queen Sofía from giving zero-local emission rides a boost during her family's holiday in Majorca (Spain's largest island).

The Queen got behind the wheel of a Peugeot iON and said the test-drive was "phenomenal," according to the Telegraph. How did the Queen get the car? Peugeot is loaning her the car - a rebranded Mitsubishi i-MiEV that was sent over from Japan - for the entire month while the Spanish royal family is on vacation at Marivent palace. Must be nice. After all, being royalty is pretty much the only way to get behind the wheel of a Fisker Karma.
